Garrett McKnightGarrett McKnight is executive vice president and managing director of Camden National Wealth Management. He and his team manage over $1 billion in assets in Maine and throughout the United States, bringing a customized, goals-based planning and investment approach to meet each client’s unique financial needs.

Prior to joining the company, he served as senior vice president and senior managing director of The Northern Trust Company in Phoenix, Arizona, where he spent over 15 years. Prior to that, he spent over 7 years working at U.S. Bank, serving as a private banker and managing director for the private client group. Garrett brings over 20 years of experience leading wealth management teams, serving successful clients and their families in investment management, financial planning, and fiduciary services.

He enjoys community involvement, serving as a board member for Elon University’s Athletic Department Scholarship Advisory Board and a member of the Men’s Art Council of the Phoenix Art Museum.

Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Elon University.

Stefan IrisStefan K. Iris, CFA, has been a key member of Camden National Wealth Management’s investment team since 2010 and has more than 20 years of investment experience. In his role as Chief Investment Officer, Stefan directs long-term investment strategy for client investment portfolios. He is the senior member of the team managing Camden National Wealth Management’s investment management process, including asset allocation and proprietary and non-proprietary investment strategies. Stefan serves as Portfolio Manager for a select number of individual and institutional clients and is currently Chair of Camden National Wealth Management’s Stock Committee. He was previously Chair of the Fixed Income and Multi-Fund Committees.

Prior to joining Camden National Wealth Management, Stefan worked in the investment industry in Boston for 18 years for companies including Putnam Investment Management, John Hancock Investments and Acadian Asset Management.

Stefan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, an MBA from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University and a Finance degree from Northeastern University. He is a member of the Maine CFA Society and the Boston Security Analysts Society. Stefan and his family reside in North Yarmouth, Maine.

Stefan serves as a director on the board of 317 Main Community Music Center in Yarmouth, Maine, and as an appointed member of the State of Maine Trust Fund Investment Advisory Committee.

Kimberly CullenStephen B. Olore, Senior Vice President, is Camden National Wealth Management’s Director of Technical Research & Analysis, Senior Portfolio Manager. Steve has 30 years of experience managing personal wealth for individual clients as well as managing investment portfolios for Institutions, Non-Profits, Foundations, Municipalities, Universities and Trusts. In his role as Director of Technical Research & Analysis, Senior Portfolio Manager, Steve shapes investment strategy through trend and market analysis within a variety of asset classes, resulting in actionable investment opportunities within and as complement to our rigorous fundamental investment process. He also continues to serve as Senior Portfolio Manager for some of our individual and institutional clients, building customized investment portfolios to achieve their goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Camden National Wealth Management, Steve worked at People’s United Bank Wealth Management where he was a member of their U.S. Equity Research Committee and part of the team responsible for their proprietary Large Cap Core and Equity Income Plus strategies. Prior to that, Steve was Founding Partner of Frederick Capital Partners, a Maine based Hedge Fund; Winslow Evans & Crocker, a private investment firm; and began his career in 1989 with Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Steve received his B.S. degree in Finance from Fairfield University. He is a member of the Association for Chartered Market Technicians (CMT). Steve and his family reside in Scarborough, Maine.

Marsha ConnorsBased in Ellsworth, Marsha works with investment and trust clients, primarily in Mid and Down East Maine with additional responsibility for trust administration and staff oversight. Marsha has more than 28 years of trust, tax, and estate planning experience. Prior to joining Camden National Wealth Management in 2008, Marsha served as managing director and personal trust relationship manager for U.S. Bank National Association’s Private Client Group in Florida where she assisted high net worth retirees in tax and estate matters. Earlier, Marsha was a personal trust administrative officer and tax coordinator with Union Trust Company.

Marsha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law. She also completed the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning with the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to that, she attended the American Bankers Association National Trust and National Graduate Trust Schools. Marsha holds the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designations. As a member of the bar in Maine and Florida, Marsha she participates in the real property, probate, elder law, and tax sections in both states. Marsha lives with her family in Bangor, Maine.

Lauren Epstein As Senior Vice President, Director of Client Services with Camden National Wealth Management, Lauren manages relationships with individual and institutional clients. Her experience in planning and administration has built a strong foundation for the advice she provides to clients. Prior to joining Camden National Wealth Management, Lauren was an attorney at Bernstein Shur, where she focused her practice on developing and drafting comprehensive estate plans, gift and estate tax planning, and probate administration. Lauren also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

A graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and State University of New York at Geneseo, Lauren is a licensed attorney in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council. She serves on the executive committee of the Portland Public Library and is a Corporator for Northern Light Health. Previously, she served on the executive committee of VNA Home Health & Hospice as well as the Board of Trustees of Mercy Hospital. Lauren and her family live in Portland, Maine.

Based in Camden, Audrey works with investment and trust clients throughout Mid Coast and Central Maine. Prior to joining Camden National in 2018, Audrey was a Vice President, Trust Relationship Manager for Columbia Trust Company in Salem, Oregon.

Audrey has over twenty-five years of experience in relationship management, estate administration and high level planned giving from her work as Vice President and Trust Officer at U.S. Trust and Bank of America Private Wealth Management as well as her institutional work with Oregon State University Foundation, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.

Throughout her career, Audrey has worked on many complex estate, legacy planning and charitable gift matters, and thoroughly enjoys working with individuals, families and institutions to understand and advance their goals and objectives.

Audrey holds a BA from Wheaton College (MA), and a Masters from Yale University. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and completed Boston University’s Certificate in Financial Planning in December 2021. Audrey has served on many not-for-profit boards including Lumina in Corvallis, Oregon, Princeton Historical Society and the Estate & Business Planning Council of Worcester, Massachusetts.

A resident of Belfast, Audrey enjoys gardening, knitting, swimming and choral singing when not sailing with her husband on Penobscot Bay.

Brenda Gatcomb Based in Portland, Mike serves as Vice President, Wealth Relationship Manager for individual and institutional clients. His fifteen years of financial services experience helped build a deep level of financial expertise that helps him guide clients on complex topics like retirement, tax, and estate planning. In his current role, Mike meets clients’ needs through offering financial advice and partnering with experts at Camden National Bank and within the professional community. Mike holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation and is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council.

Prior to joining Camden National Wealth Management, Mike worked for several Fortune 500 financial services firms in various leadership roles including advising clients and managing branches. Most recently, he worked for Raymond James where he led and developed associates throughout the New England market.

Mike lives with his family in Gorham where he volunteers as a basketball and soccer coach for the Gorham Recreation Department. When not at home, on the court or pitch, you can find Mike and his family adventuring throughout Maine exploring its countless trails, mountains, parks, and beaches.

Brenda Gatcomb Brenda is based in our Ellsworth office and manages portfolios for investment and trust clients, primarily in Midcoast and Down East Maine. Brenda has more than 30 years of account administration, retirement planning, and portfolio management experience. As a member of the Camden National Wealth Management Investment Committee, she contributes to the firm’s research and policy setting processes.

Brenda began her banking career with Union Trust in 1982, joining the Trust Department in 1986. In 1989 she joined the Trust Department of Bar Harbor Banking and Trust where she was responsible for recordkeeping and administration of the Employee Benefit plans. Brenda returned to Union Trust in 1999, continuing to specialize in Employee Benefit plans while also serving as Relationship Manager for personal investment management and individual retirement accounts. In 2004, Brenda moved from the administrative to the portfolio management team and continued in that role after the 2008 merger with Camden National Wealth Management.

Brenda has earned the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designations from the College for Financial Planning. She has attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, Husson University in Bangor, and has a Bachelor of University Studies from the University of Maine in Orono.

Brenda GatcombPatrick White-Thomson, CFA, CAIA, in his role as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, works with clients to develop customized portfolios based on their goals, objectives and risk tolerance. In addition, as a member of the Investment Committee, he helps to shape the firm’s investment policy, and participates in the group’s individual security selection process and market research initiatives.

Patrick brings over ten years of experience in the financial services industry to his role, most recently as a Senior Portfolio Manager with Holly Street Wealth Advisors, a boutique investment firm in Pasadena, California. Prior to that he was the Senior Portfolio Manager in charge of research at Osher Van de Voorde Investment Management and has experience working in the private client groups of both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Patrick is a CFA charterholder and has also earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in History. He also has a Master’s degree from D’Youville College. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys hiking, biking, reading and writing.

Brenda GatcombDavid joined Camden National Wealth Management as a portfolio manager in 2023 with over seventeen years of investment experience. In this role, David is responsible for fundamental and technical research that supports all CNWM investment strategies. He also serves as portfolio manager for a select number of clients, crafting and managing their portfolios in accordance with their investment objectives.

David began his career as an investment analyst at Braver Wealth Management and subsequently worked for Milford National Bank and Trust as an investment officer. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts and is a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Outside the office, David enjoys reading American fiction and history, hiking New England’s mountains, and exploring the food scene in Portland.

Brenda GatcombAs Vice President with Camden National Wealth Management, Sharon serves in two key capacities: as lead equity and fixed income trader and as senior risk management officer for wealth management. Sharon is responsible for all securities trading activity. She supports the team in maintaining a strong control environment through her focus on risk management and ongoing commitment to adhering to all policy, regulatory and legal requirements for the business unit.

Sharon joined the wealth management team in 1997. Earlier, she spent several years working for Shearson Lehman Brothers in Boston and as an Operations Manager at Smith Barney in Portland. She gained additional experience as the Branch Administrative Manager with Paine Webber, where she focused on regulatory compliance issues. Sharon is a past President of the Junior League of Portland, Maine, Inc. and served on the Board of Directors of the Center for Grieving Children. She attended Northeastern University. Sharon is a native of Brookline, Massachusetts and lives in Dayton, Maine with her husband and sons.

Brenda GatcombSarah joined Camden National Wealth Management as the Investment and Operations Analyst in 2021. In her role, she provides technical management of our investment systems and leadership on projects to support strategic initiatives. Sarah also provides the Portfolio Management team with support on investment research and trading activities.

Sarah brings over 10 years of experience in mutual fund accounting and financial reporting from her time spent at JPMorgan Chase and State Street Corporation in Boston. While at JPMorgan, she contributed to several technology implementation projects and RFP presentations as a subject matter expert on the financial reporting platform.

Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. Sarah is a native of Buxton, Maine and is thrilled to have returned to her home state. In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time at the lake with her family.

In addition, Sara directs the tax component of client administration for the entire group by acting as the central coordinator for tax preparation.

Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Rhode Island. Brenda Gatcomb Ann joined Camden National Wealth Management as a Client Service Administrator in 2023. In this capacity, Ann supports clients with their day-to-day financial needs. She consistently demonstrates a remarkable ability to make clients feel valued, appreciated and served well.

Before joining the firm, Ann was employed by Edward Jones where she serviced clients with a personal approach.

Prior to her employment with Edward Jones, Ann was employed in the legal field as a Legal Assistant for twenty-five years. In this capacity, Ann supported clients with an excellent attention to detail and a superior level of care.

Ann has a passion for hard work and dedication—Maine values she learned from her parents. Throughout her career, Ann has been praised as someone who “never backs down from a challenge.”

Ann grew up in Medway, Maine, in the shadows of Mt. Katahdin, where the East Branch and West Branch of the Penobscot River come together. In her spare time, Ann enjoys weight training, power walking and riding her bicycle alongside local beaches.

Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a front office manager in Charleston, SC after serving as a household manager and nanny while working towards her degree at Trident Technical College.

Emily recently moved back to her hometown of Camden, ME. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as anything outdoors.
