Garrett McKnight is executive vice president and managing director of Camden National Wealth Management. He and his team manage over $1 billion in assets in Maine and throughout the United States, bringing a customized, goals-based planning and investment approach to meet each client’s unique financial needs.

Prior to joining the company, he served as Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director of The Northern Trust Company in Phoenix, Arizona, where he spent more than 15 years. Prior to that, he spent more than 7 years working at U.S. Bank, serving as a Private Banker and then Managing Director within their Private Client Group. He began his career at NationsBank/Bank of America. Garrett brings more than 20 years of experience leading wealth management teams, serving successful clients and their families in investment management, financial planning, and fiduciary services.

He enjoys community involvement, currently serving as on the Investment Committee for Elon University’s Endowment and the Board of Directors at Cape Arundel Golf Club in Kennebunkport. He has held roles on the Elon’s Alumni Board along with the Athletic Department Scholarship Advisory Board. Additionally, he served as a Trustee of the Phoenix Art Museum, on the Board of Directors at Phoenix Country Club and as President of the Men’s Art Council at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Elon University.
