Important: Please have your account number and social security number available to complete enrollment. You’ll be prompted to choose a Login ID as part of the process. - When you first log in, you’ll be prompted to receive a secure access code by text or voice to the phone number we have on file. You’ll also have the opportunity to register your device for future access.
TIP: Once logged in, go ahead and toggle on biometrics under ‘Settings,’ ‘Security & Alerts,’ ‘Touch ID/Face ID,’ so you won’t need to remember your login credentials every time you log in!

Activate your new Camden National Bank debit card in any of these ways:
- Make a purchase that asks for your PIN
- Call the debit card activation number: 888-654-8796
- Enable your card in our mobile app under 'Menu' > 'Services' > 'Debit Card Controls'
- Don’t forget to destroy and discard your Northway Bank debit card.

What does this mean to me as a Northway Bank customer?
This means you’ll still receive the same genuine, personal service—now from 73 locations spanning across New Hampshire and Maine. You will have free access to over 84 ATMs and a wider range of sophisticated banking tools and products, from personal and business banking to commercial lending and home loans. You’ll benefit from local decision-making through an independent community bank that lives and works in your community.
What is the expected timing of the merger?
Northway Bank successfully merged with Camden National Bank. Don’t worry; all your favorite Northway branches will remain open, so plan to continue banking as you do. Please watch for more information in mid-February about what to expect and when as we transition accounts and welcome customers to Camden National Bank the weekend of March 14.
Will our Northway Bank routing number still be used?
Yes, Camden National Bank will retain Northway Bank’s routing number for some time.
Will my account number change?
Most Northway Bank account numbers will remain the same as they transition to Camden National Bank accounts. If your account number does need to change, this will be noted in your Welcome Letter and a bank representative will be in touch with you to assist with that change as needed.
Will I be able to access my statements and banking history at Camden National Bank?
You will be able to view up to 1 year of your account transactions, both credits and debits, in Camden National Bank’s online or mobile banking app on or after 3/17. If you need to access a statement, our banking team would be happy to assist you. Just stop by your local banking center to request your statement, that can go as far back as 7 years ago.
Can I still use my Northway Bank checks as a Camden National Bank customer?
Yes, you may continue to use your remaining Northway Bank checks once your account transitions to Camden National Bank. If your account number is changing, your Welcome Letter will notify you of that and a bank representative will be in touch to assist you with ordering new complimentary checks, if applicable.
Do I need to get a new debit card?
Yes. Your new Camden National Bank Visa® debit card will automatically be mailed to you. Your Northway Bank debit card or ATM card will be deactivated on Monday, March 17th. Please activate your new Camden National Bank debit card on Monday, March 17th so you can begin making purchases and accessing your accounts at ATMs.
Will my branch be closing?
No, all Northway Bank branches will remain open. The combined organization will provide customers with even more locations to conduct their banking business, gaining access to a 57-branch network with over 73 combined locations and extended hours to reach a “live” customer care representative.
Will my online and mobile banking be changing, and can I expect any digital enhancements?
Yes! You will need to enroll in Camden National Bank’s digital banking on or after Monday, March 17th. Northway Bank’s digital banking will be unavailable beginning at 4 pm on Friday, March 14th.
What’s getting better:

Money Manager is our enhanced, easy-to-use budgeting tool to track and analyze your spending to help you create and reach your financial goals. - You can stay in the know with near real-time text, email, or push notification alerts to notify you of transactions and balances.
- Get a direct connection to Intuit Direct Connect.
- You’ll still have access to Zelle® – a fast, safe, and easy way to send money to friends and family, even if they bank somewhere different than you.

This merger will deepen our commitment to our communities. Our shared values, including a commitment to the communities we serve, make this partnership a natural fit. Additionally, Camden National Bank has committed to provide a total of $250,000 in charitable contributions in Northway Bank's market area for the 3-year period following the closing.
