Camden, Maine, March 29, 2021 – On Tuesday, March 23rd, S&P Global Market Intelligence released its annual rankings for best-performing community banks and credit unions based on 2020 performance. Camden National Bank was the only Maine-based bank to be recognized as one of the 50 best-performing U.S. community banks with assets between $3 billion and $10 billion during 2020. The full list and ranking metrics can be found here.
“We’re very proud to be included in S&P Global’s list of top 50 large community banks, as our entire team of employees has worked diligently over the past year to provide superior support, products, and guidance for our customers, while giving back in the communities we call home,” said Greg Dufour, President & CEO of Camden National Bank. “Receiving this type of recognition is significant in any year, and it is particularly special to receive this honor in light of the challenges we all faced during the pandemic.”
In 2020, Camden National Bank received record customer satisfaction and employee engagement survey scores. 8 out of 10 consumer customers responded as very likely to recommend Camden National Bank to friends and family—a strong indicator of satisfaction and loyalty.
