Michael R. Archer, CPA, is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Camden National Bank, where he also serves as the company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. He has responsibility for accounting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis.

He joined the company in October 2013 and became executive vice president and chief financial officer on January 3, 2022. Before becoming EVP and CFO, he served over eight years as the bank’s senior vice president and corporate controller. Prior to his time at Camden National Bank, he spent seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for Jobs for Maine Graduates, serving on the Finance Committee, a member of the local Little League Board of Directors, Five Town Little League, and serves on the Town of Rockport Recreational Committee.

Mike is a licensed, certified public accountant (“CPA”) who holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Husson University. He is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and has a leadership certificate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
