David Ackley, Jr., CERP, is executive vice president and chief risk officer of Camden National Bank, where he oversees risk management, information security management, cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory relations.

He arrived at Camden National Bank in 2011 as vice president and senior information security officer. He was promoted to senior vice president and director of information security & enterprise risk management in 2016 and executive vice president and chief risk officer in 2023 after nearly 12 years of service, which included “Commitment to the Employee” and “Officer of the Year” honors in 2013 and 2020, respectively.

Dave is a Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (“CERP”), demonstrating his significant expertise in the enterprise risk field. He is a founding member of the Boston Federal Reserve’s Cyber Threat Sharing Forum and serves on the American Bankers Association’s Risk and Compliance Conference Planning Committee.
