Barbara Raths
Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking
Barbara M. Raths, CTP, is the executive vice president of commercial banking at Camden National Bank. In her role, Raths focuses on accelerating core commercial business development across the company's footprint and leading treasury management sales and service strategies.
She joined the company in 2019 and became executive vice president of commercial banking in 2024. She most recently served as senior vice president and director of treasury management and government banking, where she led business, nonprofit, and government treasury management business development efforts.
Prior to joining Camden National Bank, Barbara held government banking roles at People’s United Bank, worked in corporate treasury finance at WEX, Inc., and served as the Deputy State Treasurer for the State of Maine.
Barbara is actively involved in the community. She chairs the Board of Trustees for the Maine Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority, serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Maine International Trade Center, and is a member of the Maine District Export Council.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric from Bates College and a Master of Business Administration with a finance concentration from the University of Southern Maine. She is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and has a leadership certificate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
